User Experience Design   

The User Experience (UX) Design Certificate offers both students and professionals a dynamic, multidisciplinary foundation in designing for digital environments. Through this program, you’ll gain hands-on experience crafting thoughtful, user-centered interactions between people and technology.

You’ll work on real-world projects that emphasize research, experimentation, and creativity—building a strong portfolio along the way.

Key Skills You’ll Develop:

  • User-Centered Design (UCD)
  • Designing meaningful experiences and artifacts
  • Rapid prototyping techniques
  • Modern UI design patterns
  • Responsive web design principles

Note: Completion of all required courses is necessary to earn the certificate.

    Students develop an understanding of user experience design as a field. Supporting theories, such as visual rhetoric, contextual design, information architecture, gestalt, content strategy, and design ethics, are investigated. Students learn foundational UX research methods. Using design software, students build and test interactive digital prototypes for a variety of user interfaces (UIs).
